I'm Melicorn1991. I haven't been on the platform for years but I know that I bring something to the table worth giving your 5 minutes to for reading this.
I'm from South Africa (no I don't have a pet lion and yes we have internet in some areas, others are still undeveloped but its developing, South Africa is growing and more and more gamers and streamers are making it onto international platforms). My goal is to be the first female to partner with Mixer *that still resides and represents South Africa!
Throughout my journey (regardless of how short it's been compared to others on the platform) I've introduced so many to both view and stream on the platform. Some of my followers have never even HEARD of Mixer, and now, now they're following so many others thanks to raids and hosts, they're spending hours on end watching and supporting streamers on MIXER!
I applied for Mixer Partnership at the beginning of May and received my feedback on the 14th of May, saying my application was unsuccessful due to engagement and mentioning party chat attention. I wanted to include party chat (as I've seen others do, including partners) - I was also brought up to allow others to speak before interrupting, so I allowed my party to finish their sentences before greeting a new follow (so max like 30seconds - an odd occasion when you're mid-battle and in the final it will be a few seconds longer due to concentrating on the match it's after all still a stream of gaming, not JUST a web show.
Since the feedback, I immediately discussed this with my mods and friends who joined in on multiplayer games. They now understand that I'm not being rude interrupting mid-sentence to greet someone as soon as my notifications go off, this is just expected/advised. I have a mod in party chat dedicated to only keep an eye on chat and he literally tells me there's a message if I haven't responded in under ten seconds. So anyone coming through to my channel IS greeted, IS answered, IS responded to. I've fixed that.
During my review period, I hosted a show that screened on Fortnite as my community asked me if I would. I didn't want to commentate in between, I mean, they were there for the show after all!
During the same week, I also hosted my very first Xbox Playdate Host (we're only 5 hosts for Xbox Playdates in South Africa, so for me, it is a pretty big deal! and I wanted to share this with my community). The party chat had over 20 members in which were all muted as some were kids and Afrikaans and I couldn't expect any of them to keep quiet the whole time. As they could hear me I also tried timing greeting and responses on my channel as and when it came through but limit the narrating of the game as I constantly had others talking.
So my timing was off for application, I get that, that was my mistake.
What I'm asking is for an appeal, for a review on my application to be brought forward as a 90 day waiting period is quite a long while to wait.
If the true reason was that I got shot down for not using a camera (my decision for this was explained in the application, stating that I wanted to prove that streamers especially woman CAN make it to the partner level WITHOUT a camera, this is not in the list of requirements, so what message would this be sent to those who are socially awkward?)
I stream a variety of games (I introduced Game Pass Hour with Melicorn1991) and play a lot of the top games, I'm often in the top 5 *as per your one comment on your site ..."Partners should be leading the pack in their genre, as a general rule. You don't have to be in the top 5 (though if you are, please reach out to us!), but your stream analytics should be showing a consistent and upward trend over time."......
My community LOVES the raids and hosts we do after streams (2 to 3 times a week), this helps give others exposure and shares the love. The response I've received from the community and other streamers for this has been AMAZING! Do their voices and 'votes' for me to be partnered not count?
Please could you review my initial application? Or create an appeal system? Or be a bit fairer with the time after being denied??
I'm afraid that this could be sending other streamers instead of trying again with the hopes of not with the next application 3 months later, to rather retry from scratch on another platform (I've seen this!). I love the Mixer. I love the community. I believe in you, I'm now asking you to believe in me.

I believe Mixer needs as much diversity as possible. So I would like to see more folks outside the US and UK get partnered. Do your beat meli!

Hello there Mixer higher ups or the people in charge of letting people becom partner. This woman right here... is a ******* amazing streamer. She engages and comunicates with her audience. She plays along side wievers. She helps them with their games. And i know this because i play fortnite with her. She helped me and my girlfriend in Save the world. We love watching her streams every chance we get. Melicorn 1991 deserves to get the partnership. Come on. Do the right thing
Agreed to opening the platform up to more people! Let the community decide.
Showing the persistence and hard work that meli does goes beyond any content creator I’ve ever met. I believe that mellicorm has gone beyond a well deserved spot on mixer for a partnership. You’d be making a huge mistake in not bringing melicorn on board. Please reconsider the original decision.
Melicorn deserves this partnership she is a nice person and loves her community

If anybody deserves to be partnered it's Melicorn1991, she's a fantastic streamer, very responsive, fantastic community, regardless cam or no cam, I support Melicorn1991 until she's partnered!
I completely agree Mixer needs an appeal system for them to take a 2nd look at an application that was denied. In the end they are losing money by that streamer not having subs. 90 Days also is extremely excessive and should be reduced to 45 at MOST
Melicorn for Mixer Partner!
She is by far my favorite streamer on Mixer and I cannot think of anyone who deserves to be a partner more than her. She is always willing to help her viewers and fellow streamers and her raids are the best.
Her streams are entertaining and fun to watch, the Meli Family is the best.
I never miss her streams.
Melicorn1991 deserves to be a partner. I haven't seen any other streamer promote mixer as much as she does. I have seen many people watch her stream on mixer even though they never knew about it or even preferred the other platforms. I was never aware of mixer before Melicorn1991 was streaming on Mixer.
Her streams are by far the most entertaining streams I've watched she makes her viewers feel apart of a family. Most of her followers watch every stream of her.
She loves to raid and help smaller streamers and so many of them has said people like her makes the Mixer community the best.
melicorn1991 should have gotten partner
