Mixer *Improved* Name Recycling for New Streamers
I think Mixer should do name recycling (with less of a demand to checklist) as small streamers who find it hard to get known on other platforms or just are generally new, like me.
I was asked to prove so much to get another username on Mixer (from an existing account which looked like it was inactive), and Mixer guidelines which are sort of unfair that asked me to prove that I had a big YT channel and a big Twitch channel, which honestly I don't have. I'm starting out here on Mixer. I don't want to grow on Twitch or I would be starting my streams on Twitch instead or Youtube for that matter.
I feel as though Mixer needs to lapse on it's name recycling policy and simply do it in steps. If an account is inactive for example two years.
Someone wants to claim the name of an existing account. Mixer does a check if the account is older than 2 years and checks when it was last logged in. If they haven't logged in. Mixer sends an email to the original owner about account deletion (Only in the case of a name claim) If the user does not respond in X amount of time/logs into their inactive account during a 30 day window. The new streamer claiming should be able to claim it.
Just a general advice suggestion to improve Mixer backing streamers. I can't get the name that I want sadly because I have been asked for too much.
