Mixer: Please pay attention to and respond to your community
Whenever there is a tweet on Twitter about an issue on the platform, the response normally given (whether by Mixer or the community) is to post it here.
It gets posted here, and then... crickets tumbleweed
In the first two pages on this site there are post ranging from 30 - almost 1,000 upvotes. -None- of them have a response from Mixer.
It's all well and good that it may have been reviewed, discussed, or action taken. Though, without Mixer responding and closing the open communication loop; the community has no idea what if anything is happening.
No response looks like it hasn't been seen.
Looking like it hasn't been seen, makes it look like Mixer doesn't care.
It looking like Mixer doesn't care makes the community feel ignored.
The people here are your community. These are the people who love and care about you. These are the people who want to help improve the site and see it succeed.
I know that Mixer has Community Managers. Where are they? Why aren't there here responding to and interacting with the community?
The issue with the Farm/24x7 channels has been mentioned here for over a year, with posts going back to October 2018. Some posts receiving over 200 upvotes:
None of them have had a response from Mixer.
Yet the week a clip of TSM_Myth visiting Mixer's site during his stream on Twitch goes viral, Mixer conveniently has an announcement on Level Up Cast stating they have a plan to address the 24x7 farming channels.
Surely it is someone's job at Mixer to read and respond to the posts here on the regular? Surely this falls under the remit of a Community Manager, the Community Action Team or a similar role/team?
It's great that people are leaving PAX South and sending tweets of "Hey, I just had a great meeting with Mixer".
That's awesome. It's always good to see people looking forward with hope and optimism.
But thats a handful of people, and a handful of tweets.
What about the posts with upvotes here? Where hundreds and HUNDREDS of people have posted and upvoted items hoping for them to be addressed.
I'd appreciate some upvotes and shares to the social sites on this.
Hopefully it will get in front of the right people and there will be some positive difference as a result.
