Mixer app discontinued
Discontinuing the Xbox app is absolutely the worst idea you guys had. You took 3 big steps forward by signing Ninja, Shroud and Gothalion but then took at least 20! steps back by ending the xbox app and replacing it with something atrocious.
The quality of the stream is horrendous. There is no way to change it. It makes the streamer look like (s)he is streaming from a potato. Its very unclear on how to sub. Chat is pushed over the actual content. Its possible to disable it but its very unclear. Its also unclear how to send a message. The old app did this very well.
But the worst thing, the absolute worst, is removing FTL. Mixer's pride and joy is NOT integrated into the new "experience".
Be smart and reconsider discontinuing the app.
Removing FTL and having no option to watch a stream in FTL will make me stop watching. It's asinine to think they would remove the main feature that initially differentiated them from the competition.
Massive step back for Mixer. Worst part is removing Mixplay from Xbox! We run interactive streams like quizzes and such which now xbox users won't be even able to play!

This is the most baffling thing I've seen Mixer do. Who makes a "new" Xbox app and then removes one of the core selling points of the platform?!
I wish this trash bloat Ware was discontinued its still forced on to my xbox hard drive and I can't uninstall this mess! Not everyone wants to watch a bunch of wanna be ninjas struggle to play mediocre

The worst thing is you can't search for individual games from the Xbox One dashboard, only in the app itself. If you're searching for a specific title you simply can't find any option to do so on the console menu. You can only search channels by name, but not games. This is a huge step back from the app functionality.
Also, the dashboard layout looks way worse, it takes more time for the stream to appear in better quality. No settings whatsoever (low latency, resolution, anything), no search function, unclear how to follow or subscribe or how to spend sparks and embers.
It's basically an unusable, barebones experience that lets us view only what's highligthed on the Mixer page currently. No option to search and adjust things properly. But there is a button to download the mobile apps which is ridiculous. We are on console because we want to use Mixer on that device.
And all the Hype Zone channels are gone and they were exclusive to Mixer doesn't make any sense
I Agree with the comments above. I have been using the Mixer App on Xbox One for a few years and I immediately hated the "new" experience. I will sometimes toggle off the sound in a mixer video while in a party chat. I cannot do that anymore. Chat seems to disappear way to quickly. Its impossible to feel like I am as connected to chat. Chat is a major component of the mixer experience.
Please leave the App on Xbox.
the new changes or should I say the new deletions makes the mixer feature garbage on the xbox. I thought the whole idea was to compliment the xbox one, now if you want to do anything besides watch you will need the mobile app or watch on a pc. Im back watching Twitch now because of this.

I completely agree. The new experience is missing the most core things of Mixer: costreaming and FTL.
They don't see that this are Key features of the platform?
The actual APP is a wagon, for sure, but we need a real app not a xb1.mixer.com on xbox. We need an app, a real app like Twitch or Facebook Watch. Integrate Mixer this way on Xbox Dashboard is a HUGE mistake.

i agree. sometimes i cant even bring up the chat in the new version and i cant see how many followers are in the new one. Also i watch hypezone and can't switch chats in the new version
With this huge step back its pretty obvious the broadcast everything option won't be coming back. I think their trying to discourage smaller streamers who just want to stream through the console.
