Please separate Live/Performing Musicians from the 24/7 radio channels
Twitch has completely dropped the ball on this, this is something that would potentially attract a lot of live musicians who are tired of competing with radio-channel bots if Mixer could get on this. The image I've attached shows the Music category - the top 20+ streams are nothing but this, let's make a "Live Music" or "Performing Musician" category!
Deffinatly a good idea as there is a big difference between streaming live radio and live musicians & performing artists. Anyone can make a radio station loop around and also become partnered from this without much work, not to mention the different legal issues that get over looked.Performance arts and live music with so many talented artists around on the streaming platform deffinatly deserve a channel dedicated to thier talents.Agree with you all as l love hearing and seeing the live musicians sharing thier passion and love for music on stream.
Would agree in that a "Radio" category would make sense and would help lift the actual live performing artist up better to get the views they deserve.

I agree. As a musician on here it's frustrating to be buried beneath inactive radio channels. Making a category for this would help immensely.
I was wondering how "popular" a suggestion has to be before it gets recognized?
I would very much like to be able to search for live musicians and not see a bunch of 24/7 playlists channels.

I'm not exaggerating, I see seasoned mixer users stumbling into live music streams almost every day and saying "oh my god, I didn't even know there were live music channels on mixer!"
This suggestion seems like an obvious and speedy solution.

I was about to open this exact thing: I will post here and up vote yours.
So I'm getting a little upset being new to the platform and seeing all the "radio" streams in the music section. It's hard to find real music streams among all these and it's just congested. Could you consider making a "radio" category and start getting these out of here. I'm willing to bet most of it is copyrighted anyways. I like to sing and no one views the "singing" section so the only place that seems to get any attention is "music" and even there I'm just buried at the bottom of radio stations. Thanks for listening, have a great day!
