I really enjoy the Mixer Season 2. However I am a LITTLE bummed that nothing new was presented to smaller streamers to hype them up.
I honestly feel the sparks as a form of monetization for smaller streamers as well could potentially be the start of some sort of Mixer Affiliate program.
Yes, I can now use my sparks to support "my favorite content creators" but at least half of my favorites are not even partnered.
We love you Mixer, but don't forget about us little folk trying to work our magic on the platform.

As a streamer with a disability I have to put this out there, not all of us will ever make partner, I push myself as hard as I can by I do have physical limitations that can make it near impossible to reach some of those bars including number of hours streamed. I would love to be able to get something for all my hard work rather than you don't try hard enough

About those users saying "only people that put hard work deserve something".
You guys are forgetting or just ignoring because you are already partnered...
A lot of "small" streamers put **** of work trying to get some recognition or just to be found.
Audio/Video/Interaction with viewers... Most of us don't just turn on streams, play and that's it.
We put A LOT of work (sometimes even more than some streamers that are already consolidated), and don't get any recognition.
Although I agree with some about the Affiliate program from twitch (not very effective), I also agree that if Mixer want that much to be different, do something so new streamers can get some recognition. Because, the problem isn't that "you are bad streamers that's why you don't have viewrs", sometimes people are really good but can't be found due a lot of reasons (some of them are caused by the plataform itself).
I am partnered on twitch for 10 years, had to stop for about 6 years, came back to their affiliate program and was a little disheartened. Moved to mixer. Reason is the only thing different in all the time I spend grinding for partner 10 years ago and affiliate was emotes and pay dates. It was like a slap in the face tbh.
I feel if there is going to be affiliate programs then at least give partners more of a payout. Dont give affiliates emotes. There is really nothing to work for if its pretty much the same. Im all for people making money streaming, but grinding for partner can take a couple years for some, so make it worthy and something people are proud of. I dont feel affiliates should get anything like partners, nothing to want for tbh.
If this ever becomes a thing, I hope all current partners who have earned their partnership, keep it. While vastly increasing Partnership requirements, I'd make the so called 'affiliation' requirements the same as current partnership requirements. The current partnership requirements are NOT hard to achieve. A lot of people just want to hit some short cuts in my opinion while I see some of my favourite streamers who have a low view and follow count pushing the boundaries for their partnership. I think people need to think about working harder to earn their community and then the partner requirements instead of making a pointless affiliation program that will be flooded. I don't and never have streamed and I meet most of the requirements people have posted here so that is way to easy for affiliation in my opinion.
I personally feel like affiliate for mixer would be really nice! I had taken some time to read the pros and cons of this, from the very own comment section, and don’t get me wrong I can definitely see how affiliate could both hurt and make the platform better. Mixer does want to do something different, but I feel adding in affiliate would be a better choice. You can make to where you don’t exactly copying partnership, maybe for starters just having that sub icon. Those who could become affiliates don’t really need to have emotes, and if they do limit it. There are those fans of smaller streamers that would donate whenever they can, be there for them, and I think if we add in this affiliate program that why would sub without a doubt. I really hope this comes to mixer! I can’t wait to see how this platform grows! :)
I agree with this comment being a non partnered streamer myself yet ticking the boxes for the new partner requirements... However not being able to get that last big push to get partner, I feel adding an affiliate program could be a great step for mixer but to do it they would have to be very careful adding it as being partnered now doesn't grant a huge amount of benefits (except the clear things... E.G Subs, spark goals etc) To do it right they need to add a couple of other features first so that the achievement of becoming a partner isn't made obsolete. I think a good thing idea for an affiliate program could be the original partner requirements with a few twists (700 followers but now with 5 average viewers, 2 months (at least) Channel age and over 100 hours streamed) Getting. I feel the opportunity for smaller channels to have custom emotes is a huge thing yet only gives a small amount of the partner benefits away.
I dot not agree If you cannot reach the Partnership goal do you think you deserve affiliate? You have to be kidding me, the Partnership goal is right there in front of you!!! Just put goals you all everyone that never grow their channel is always complaining about earning money!! Why you don’t complain to yourself why? Why you don’t grow? Everyone who wants something work hard! Is not asking and complaining ask to all streamers who already reach the Partnership goal!
I do not agree!! Mixer have to be different! Real streamers/Gamers that love what they do they put goals, work hard to make good content with good quality they don’t sit and complain about earning money instead you should work hard to make good content with good quality!! Mixer don’t forget about small streamers they give you sparks to support streamers, they give you the opportunity to work hard and make good content with good quality, they give you the opportunity to become partner!!! I don’t believe that is forget about “small streamers” everyone should work hard, put goals, stream with good quality your goals are right there in front of you. You just want everything easy to what? EVERYONE WHO CANNOT REACH THE PARTNERSHIP GOAL is because they are always complaining about earning money, complaining about other channel, or just because you do not put effort on your content and quality. IS REALLY NOTICED SOMEONE THAT DO NO PUT GOALS AND EFFORT IS ALWAYS COMPLAINING LIKE A LOSER.

i personally think this is a good idea! well right as of this post non partnered streamers get nothing at all when it comes to money or anything. now im not saying let go pay every single streamer trying, im saying maybe some sort of affiliate program that once affiliated you get sparks banked up or a certain percentage of all spark donations would be banked then once partnered they can cash out if they want to kinda thing.
I personally do not agree with an Affiliate Program on Mixer.
That will make Mixer another Twitch platform and Mixer exists to be different and unique.
Personally I think that an Affiliation Program is a way to celebrate mediocrity and weariness with no goals to be achieved what so ever.
It makes all of those who actually put hours of work into reaching actual goals look like fools when affiliation would hand the same perks for no goals at all.
You either work to reach the Partnership goals or you don't. That is something only you can achieve. If you can't reach Partnership goals I would have to say you're not fit to represent the platform and the brand as is.
After all, this is all business and, if you can reach minimum goals like the Partnership ones that already have been tweaked, you're not fit to be an official representative of the platform.
I feel like the moment we add affiliate we're going to get an exclusivity clause. I also want this platform to grow for reasons other than solely monetization. I'd rather see sparks get banked for streamers and then when they get partnership they get credit for them as well. I don't think this is a bad suggestion, just the way its presented doesn't seem right to me.
This sounds like a good idea and I would say I want them to do what twitch did as in allowing a sub button on affiliates channels but only allowing one emote. Only good can come from this for the creator and mixer because they will both be earning more money. Difference between affiliate and partner would be that the partner would be representatives for the website and would have to be a good role model for the community.
Firat of all 5 mil sparks is a $250 payout. Secondly an affiliate program is not necessarily a good thing. Far too many people get to affiliate and stop working to make partner, rather they rest on their laurels. I think something that more incentivises the streamer to polishbtheir stream, while rewarding them for making the requirements would be nice. Unlike the Twitch affiliate program, that's too easy to make, rewards very little and is a glorified contract blocking you feom restreaming your broadcasts.
What if Mixer Let us have sparks and emotes? Ill settle for that! Partners can keep their sub button and direct purchase!
I completely agree with you me being a streamer with just over 1.2k i would love to have affiliate introduced into mixer
mixer themselves would make alot of money
come on mixer make the requirements some thing like 200 followers and and around 3 concurrent viewers throughout the last couple of live streams
Or even 1k = $1
100 = $1? That's a bit too much, IMO. I have a 250 spark button that plays one of 30-40 random sound effects, so that's 2.5 per button press? That's a bit too much. Maybe 500-750 = $1 or something? That's more balanced, IMO.
5mil sparks is like a $500 bonus for partners. Do as an affiliate the ratio would be less. However, they could the same ratio because us "up and comers" don't have the ability, nor reach to farm sparks like a partner can.

It would even be cool to let non-partnered streamers who meet certain criteria to be able to earn a smaller portion of what Partners spark payouts would be. Honestly I don't know what it currently sits at, but something like 100 sparks = $1 for non-partners?
