There should be a unified search option front and center on the mixer homepage. Currently the channel search is confusing, when I just want to search for a specific game. Users typically won't know the specific channel name they want to search for, but rather the game they're looking to search for. For the channel search to be front and center makes things confusing. I also encountered an even more confusing user flow when I typed my game search query into the channel search, and then got no results before noticing the game search. After typing my query into the game search, i still had no results until I cleared the channel search as it seemed to take priority.
The search functionality is a very confusing flow at the moment.
Imagine you are a viewer... go to the search bar on Mixers front page and type in a game that you are interested in.
I tried doing this simple query via pc and android... and it failed to locate the game, even though dozens of people were streaming it.
This failure is costing you all viewers. They search once... and maybe never come back. This URGENTLY needs changing. It is costing you viewers.
Not only this but it need to search more that the game and the channel name. There is NO way to search for someone doing speedruns if they don't have it in their channel name.

I agree with that, too
If I (as a German for example) typing the typical "[DE/GER]" Tag into that Searchbox I just don't find anyone. The Search should get an overhaul...
Agreed. There needs to be one single search box, front and center where we can type in anything (channels, games, platforms, etc). Too often I use the first search box I see (which is for channels) but use it to search for games and get no results.
