Co-Streaming from a Viewer Perspective
I feel as though you really inhibit a viewer's experience when you don't make co-streaming something that viewers are automatically opted-out of.
For instance, if I am at mixer.com/qwik - I am there to watch Qwik, and support him. But if he decides to join someone else's co-stream, it takes away the feeling of support from his channel / stream. I should be able to decide whether I want my viewing experience to be impacted by co-streaming or not.
In addition to this - if viewers aren't auto-opted-out of co-streaming, then, at least let us re-arrange the video layout.
One other helpful feature would be to know which stream/channel someone is from (or at least the mods). I don't think this would be a very difficult thing, considering the consolidated stream chats can see when someone follows or hosts or Tweets a specific stream in a co-stream setup.
I hope this feedback resonates with your team and you can make positive changes.

Games like - Shellshock for example - or card games etc - do not need 2-4 videos of the exact same screen during Co-stream. I see having a 'Costream Chat Only' option as being an amazingly useful option.

This would be really good, I have a bunch of viewers who sometimes don't have the bandwidth for the co-streams, or dislike co-streaming. Giving those types of viewers a choice would be perfect.

Maybe an intermediate change could be that when you X out of one of the co-stream "windows", that instead of just sitting there blank, that it either shrinks down to a much smaller size or goes away completely (maybe leaving an icon behind so a user could reopen it if they wanted to), to let the other co-stream window(s) regain the usage of that space and resize themselves to be larger?

Having as much control over the co-stream format as a viewer is best!

I support this idea. I was about to post this myself but found this and it's pretty much what I wanted to see.
- Allow a co-stream to be setup where the secondary video is off by default, and viewers can opt-in to co-streaming if they want. So if Streamer "A" and Streamer "B" are co-streaming, and people join "A's" channel, then they will see that person's stream and can opt in to see "B's" stream if they choose to
- Allow viewers to set their own co-stream layout and save the options for future use. So instead of them being forced to view it as the streamer sets up, let them choose their layout

this would be really great, lots (most) of times when i am watching a co-stream i just want to watch one POV, i love the combined chat, but it would be amazing to be able to minimize/ rearrange the streams
