I've seen that a couple people have had their accounts hacked and deleted. I know at least one of the few didn't have access to the 2 factor auth because they didn't have a smartphone to scan the QR code. Can you make it so that people can get the code texted to them without having to have a smart phone? Also, maybe make it so that when someone hits delete account they have to confirm it via an email? I just want to widen the range of security for people.
Try Authly, it has a desktop app: https://www.authy.com/app/desktop/
As some of us do not have phones, can we please get another way to protect our accounts from being hacked even if we do have different passwords for different things?
Authy doesn't require a smartphone.
Yeah confirming via email + 5-7 cooldown is best.
That aside, secure your stuff, do not repeat passwords, etc
several sites i belong to for forums and that nature have it so when you go to delete the site it does a 5-7 day cooldown before it deletes it so you have a chance to change your mind. that woud be great too.
