Twitch has amazon prime subs.
Why can't mixer have Xbox live or specially a game pass membership where you one free sub a month to use or gift?667 votes
When we announced the Microsoft acquisition, we mentioned how excited we were about the possibility of integration like this. Of course, implementing this idea will require significant thought and planning. If we were to do something like this, we’d make sure to take the time to get it right.
With that said, we don’t have any specific news to share but wanted to mention that we are open to the idea and will continue to explore.
Similar to what twitch recently announced I think that Mixer should integrate some type of achievement system or milestones for streamers AND viewers.
Examples for viewer achievements could be
1) watch a streamer who has less than 15 viewers.
2) watch a stream for over an hour
You could do a variety of achievements to encourage activity from viewers in different/unique ways on Mixer.
The reward for completed achievements could be sparks?328 votes
We are considering this! We did have achievements back when Mixer was “Beam Beta” but removed them at launch to focus on quality/performance.
Having a PS4 Built in app to stream from like Twitch or YouTube would be great to grow the Mixer Platform & It could lead to even more feedback to make Mixer an awesome platform for Gamers to stream on151 votes
This is something we would love to do! There’s no platform we wouldn’t want to be on, but specific permission is required from Sony to publish apps on their platform.

Many users want the function that can ignore someones unpleasant comments by themselvs. Is it possible to add the funcion like this at an early date?168 votes
We are strongly considering adding this option but don’t have a firm timeline at this time.
We need Exports for YouTube rather then having to Download our Streams then Upload them! 8+Hour Streams @ 720 take alot of Data and Im already 900GB out of my TB my IP gives me I cant Download then Export, It also takes a ton of time!320 votes
We are reviewing the possibility of direct YouTube uploads, although it’s unlikely we will make significant progress on this in the near-term.
Right now our VOD focus is on launching clips and other features to showcase more live content. In the mean time, you can still download VODs directly from the Manage Channel>VOD page and edit+upload freely.
With the influx of people that Beam is getting with the launch of the Xbox app, it would be nice if the people on Xbox could see the description. There are many people who come in and aren't able to see the rules of channels. Making it easier to find on Mobile would be nice as well.92 votes
There are some performance and UI concerns we’re working through, but absolutely investigating this. We know this is important.
I really like how twitch does its whispers. Having a separate area for sending/receiving prevents one from accidentally sending a whisper to the wrong person, or broadcasting it in chat.275 votes
There are some exciting opportunities to leverage Xbox Live’s persisted chat infrastructure to help us build out an awesome Beam messaging/whispering/alerting system, and we’re evaluating the best “Beam friendly” way to present this now. No ETA on a release, but would love feedback on this feature.
Add a checkbox in channel settings to show that your channel is raid friendly by having it put "raid friendly" beneath or on top of the channel somewhere182 votes
Apologies for the delay in updating this item. I wanted to drop in to provide a status update on this.
In November we launched hosting 2.0 which made it easier for broadcasters to do “traditional” raids (by reflecting viewercount from the hosted channel, providing tabbed chat, and making hosting easier in general).
I am marking this back as “under review” since the item specifically asks for a raid friendly system which is more nuanced than what we ended up shipping.
I’d love to see how we can leverage the framework we built with hosting 2.0 to make this possible. Do you have feedback on what tweaks would need to be made (e.g. perhaps a “allow hosting” checkbox and a preloaded message to send when hosting?) to make this possible?
Viewers should be able to follow a team page, so they can be alerted when any of the team members go live, even if they don't follow that team member.197 votes
This is something we’re considering on implementing in the future.
I want to be able to send sparks to players, and have them send sparks back to me.
Chat commands would be /sendsparks @user #amt#
I also want api commands so I can make a bank bot.153 votes
It would be great to be able to choose to show a widget on your profile page that shows off the sub icons of all the channels you subscribe to, and have each of them link to the corresponding partner. It'd be like a "gotta catch'm all" way to support streamers you love.92 votes
We’re considering this and discussing it with the rest of the team.

I think it would be a cool idea to be able to embed multiple states of an interactive board at once, this would let people who have their streams embedded on their website give viewers there the ability to have the best possible interactive experience and control.7 votes
Hi, I'm working on a website for a broadcaster, it has a way to login with Beam OAuth, so people can do a bunch of things on the site, including HOST from the stream page, the issue is, as it is at the moment it requires the `channel:update:self` scope, which is not the best of scopes to use for a streamer's website, as this obviously gives the site access to update the logged in users channel settings, but as it stands right now this is the only way I can add a host button, would be nice to have a separate scope just for hosting, like you have for following (channel:follow:self), so can you please add a channel:host:self scope :D thankyou ~MRVDOG

We’re reviewing this to workout if we can fit it into Beam

We’re constantly looking to support other languages on our platform.
You’re more than welcome to try and create one yourself in the meantime.
The followers endpoint should be sortable and limitable like other endpoints within the api.
Currently only the current page's results are sortable.
Developers would love a URI to fetch for their latest follower.14 votes
We’re reviewing how to make this situation better.
